The other person will usually make these decisions within five seconds upon meeting you.
Before you even open your mouth, people are sizing you up. At first people will listen to what they see, not what they hear. Other people will judge you by how you stand, how you walk, how you shake hands, how you smile, and how you sit. That?s why it?s important to plan your clothes, and even how you comb your hair before a meeting, if you can.
You can help influence a person?s impression of you. For example, darker clothing colors suggest authority. Lighter colors suggest friendliness or a sense of humor. If you want to come across as innocent, you should wear white. And wearing a lot of jewelry suggests power or wealth.
Dressing carefully and thoughtfully for a meeting shows respect for the other person. When you dress with care, walk with command, extend your hand, smile, and greet a person with a secure tone of voice, you are letting that person know you are a person worthy of respect.

Northwest Casino Travel Map
Ever watchful for promising opportunities, it took entrepreneurial Spokane publisher Vicki Dar little more than a chat with her daughter to come up with her latest product, the recently introduced Northwest Casino Travel Map.
The six-panel folding chart, printed on heavy stock with a plastic-like coating and priced at $6.95, shows the locations and some of the amenities of the more than 50 tribal casinos in Washington, Oregon, Idaho, and Montana. It also lists addresses, phone numbers, and Web sites for the casinos, and offers a few tips for creating an enjoyable gambling trip.
Dar is producing the map through her 24-year-old Spokane-based company, Eagle Publishing, which has served as her launching pad for several other publications she no longer owns, and has set up a Web site, ILuvCasinos.com, to support its distribution.
She says she hopes to begin customizing the maps soon for tribes that want to have their casinos featured prominently, on its cover, and expects to launch by early next year a monthly magazine focused on Northwest casino happenings.
Her new venture is targeted at tribal-gaming enthusiasts who also like to travel, yet Dar admits she’s never been to the gambling mecca of Las Vegas and “had hardly stepped into a casino” until a few years ago

Faith in yourself is the only known fuel to your success. Belief will unleash one?s full potential and this will enable you to have effective action and effective action will give you the right results. When right results are obtained, it will in turn strengthen your beliefs once again. Believing in yourself is the most important definition of success.
Principle 3: Partnering Yourself
Most of the successful people in the world team themselves with someone else. And this is when one plus one equal more than two. It is equal to three or more. As I have mention earlier, to dwell on your strengths and passion. Then, who are taking care of your other essential tasks which may be your weakness and dislikes. A team is the solution. Can you imagine a scenario in which all of us in the team are doing things that we are most effective and passionate about? This get together will create miracles which is what a TEAM stands for: Together Everyone Achieves Miracles.

No more excuses.
When someone in your company doesn’t produce the desired results–results to which they have committed, perhaps promised themselves and their departments–they usually have a reason why not. Looking at it this way, you always have one or the other: desired results or reasons why you don’t. People act as if those reasons are almost as good as the results. How do I know this? Because they always say something like, “Well, it didn’t work, but here’s why not,” or “We didn’t get ‘it’ done, because…” Or, worse still, ” We didn’t even try because…”
Remove people’s option to resort to reasons why not. Take away their option to resort to excuses. I think the entire working world would shift if there was no recourse to the “excuse” option–if all you could do was produce the desired result, or try another way to get the desired result, or try another way, and so on.

Those individuals who have had a traumatic incident that is related to and preceded a traumatic incident involving flying.
3. Those who have never had a traumatic incident involving flying but flying somehow metaphorically relates to some other trauma or emotional difficulty they are having in their lives.
In the second case the flying phobia is thematically related to the preceding incident. A “theme” might for instance be about making one’s self completely dependent on someone else, or perhaps about being confined in a closed space with no way to freedom etc.
In the third case the same thematic representation may be present. Additionally there may also be an issue of what therapists call “secondary gain”.

A handful of fountain sodas–cola, diet cola, a lemon-lime drink and perhaps root beer–is the extent of the soft-drink list on most menus. Not so at S’MAC in New York City, where owner Sarita Ekya boosts beverage offerings with organically sweetened sodas and bottled all-natural juice spritzers

FITCHBURG, Wis. — A new method of populating electronic medical records that pulls patient

Most EMR systems on the market today require physicians to personally

Extra rides on miniature train
0 Comments | Leicester Mercury, Jul 28, 2010
A MINIATURE railway will be running extra rides due to school holiday demand.
The steam and petrol driven train has been carrying families around Abbey Park for almost 60 years. It is run by Leicester Society of Model Engineers.
John Lowe, of the society, said: “There’s lots of nice scenery to take in on the journey and you can catch glimpses of many flowers and the river.
“We have even hidden a few cuddly toys in the trees for the little ones to watch out for.”
The train will run between 10.30am and 4pm on Wednesdays until the end of August and 1pm and 5pm on Sundays until the end of October.

We are forever being told to watch our potassium intake, so I thought I would explore the reasons for this, and what practical steps we can take to limit the risks.
For your cells to function properly, it is important that you maintain the right level of potassium, unfortunately, for those of us with kidney disease, there is no way for our bodies to rid themselves of this potassium. As too high a level of potassium can cause muscle weakness, affect the heart rhythm and may even cause death, it is critical that we manage our intake carefully, in consultation with our dietician, clinical nurse, and renal specialist.
Some signs that your potassium may be too high might include, but are not limited to: nausea, diarrhea, muscle weakness, and irregular heartbeat.
